Following a fall at the Patriots fixture at Surrey Scorchers last Saturday, Mason Faulkner has sustained a serious injury to his right knee, which will require surgery. During the past week, the club has been working with Mason and medical professionals to determine the level of damage sustained. Unfortunately, due to the injury, Mason will not be able to play for the Patriots for the remainder of this season.
The club will continue to work with Mason and healthcare professionals to support him in returning to full fitness and Mason has said, “I’m so grateful for all the messages of support I have received from the Patriots fans and appreciate the support from the club. I am currently reviewing the options available to me so I can return to fitness as soon as possible.”
