Jules Dang Akodo, who had previously enjoyed productive stints for the London City Royals, London Lions and Surrey Scorchers, was announced as a third new signing in a short space of time, joining Jawaun Daniels and Ty Gadsden on the roster. Akodo was once ranked number one at the prestigious Deng Camp, and is no stranger to the BBL. He joins his friend and former team mate Elvisi Dusha, whom he paired up with at both London City Royals and Surrey Scorchers.
Jules had this to say about joining the Patriots.
I'm delighted to be back on the court in the BBL and excited to be playing in Plymouth, the fan base here is incredible and that's something I've always admired.
The chance to work with Coach James and play with my brother Elvisi Dusha again also adds to this.
I'm looking forward to my first home game at the Pavilions and bringing some more wins to Plymouth.
